We are the Pennsylvania-Delaware (Penn-Del) Chapter of The Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER). AER is the only international membership organization dedicated to rendering all possible support and assistance to the professionals who work in all phases of education and rehabilitation of blind and visually impaired children and adults.

Two Penn-Del AER Board members have received awards at the 2022 International AER Conference.
Vince McVeigh received the The Richard L Welsh Chapter Leadership Award This award was established to recognize professionals who have contributed outstanding efforts in AER chapter leadership.
Mary Nelle McLennan received The Douglas C. MacFarland Award. This award was established to honor an individual who has provided leadership in the field of blindness and visual impairment and who made innovative, significant, or outstanding contributions to the field.
